Birth Photography

The lights are low and twinkling. You are tired, but your baby is almost here. One last push...


You might be nervous about welcoming another person into your birth space. Maybe you wonder whether it I'd be distracting, or capture something you don't want to see. But you don't need to worry. I'm here to document the real, beautiful, powerful story of your baby's birth - on your terms.


Concerned about modesty? Want to avoid using a flash? You got it. We'll talk over all your questions and preferences to ensure you are comfortable.

Birth is epic, but the memories of it are so hard to hold on to! Let me document the moments you might otherwise forget and show you just how powerful, beautiful and amazing you are! When your baby's birthday comes, I'll be there alongside you capturing all the wonder of your baby's birth.

Maternity Sessions

Capture the beauty and wonder of this special time before your baby's arrival! Our relaxed 60-minute Maternity sessions are ideally scheduled between 24-30 weeks, but are available at any time during your pregnancy. Maternity sessions focus on you as the birthing person, but may include your family or pets if desired!

Newborn Photography

Oh those eyelashes! Her tiny hand curled around your finger. The hat and booties that his auntie knitted. The little details captured now will bring back memories of sights and sounds and moments, months and years later.


At 2-3 hours long, our in-home Lifestyle Newborn Sessions provide space for a relaxed pace that adjusts to the needs of your family. The longer time frame allows ample time for sensory breaks, feedings, outfit and diaper changes. We'll capture the wonder of those tiny toes, snuggles with the family (and pets) and maybe a baby yawn or two!

Lifestyle sessions aim to capture the beauty of your little one and family with minimal posing or props (though we can create a handful of those photos if you’d like). You won’t need to deep clean anything, overheat your home, or overfeed your baby to make sure they are sleepy! Baby will spend much of the session in your arms, where they are safest and happiest.

Family Photography


You and your littles snuggled up together on your couch, running in the tall grass at your favorite park, or baking cookies with their auntie. Mastering their crawl, those toddling steps, graduating from diapers. Too rare visits with grandparents. There are so many reasons to document the moments and milestones that mark time in your family. They will only be this age once.


We offer flexible session lengths to suit your family's needs. Our hourly sessions are perfect for custom family photos, and baby milestones (3 month, 6 month, 9 month, and 1 year) and creating a gallery wall. Adding extra time allows for a more relaxed session for the whole family, time for extra silliness and play, and/or the option of a change of clothing or a second locationMini sessions are ideal for capturing images for holiday cards, pregnancy announcements, and Parent & Me sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many pictures will we receive?

Each photography package provides a minimum number of photos you can expect to receive, but in most cases you'll receive more that that number. Check out the Investment page for details on the current packages we offer.

How should we dress for our family session?

I'll work with your family to provide some helpful guidelines on what not to wear (some patterns just don't show up well on camera), and suggestions for color combinations and outfits that work well for individual, couple, and family portraits. You're going to look great!

What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?

Our newborn sessions begin in the morning, usually around 9 or 10am. On arrival we’ll tour your home for a good natural light source and set up camp for most of the photos there. Sessions usually begin with whole family or sibling photos, and/or a feeding to ensure that your baby is content. But if that doesn't work out we'll roll with your baby's adorably unpredictable cues and capture beautiful, real moments you'll cherish.

We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?

Of course! I'm pretty good at bringing out the silly and fun in families. I'll do my best to get your kiddos laughing, and provide the occassional prompt. But I'm here to capture you and your family. There won't be a lot of awkward posing and staring at the camera. We'll get a couple classic photos, but then I'll spend most of the time capturing you just being the uniquely beautiful family that you are.

How will we receive our photos?

Every photo package includes a high resolution, secure online gallery. Once your photos are edited and uploaded (2-6 weeks depending on the package you choose) you can download the digital files, order prints directly from the gallery, and share the files with friends and family.

What if there's bad weather for my outdoor session?

Depending on how nature surprises us, we can either roll with a drizzle by adding umbrellas or moving to a sheltered outdoor area. More significant weather might require a bigger change. A few days before your session, if severe weather is forecasted, we will explore indoor options or reschedule.
